Who we are

StarKind hosts websites for clubs, nonprofits and other communities. Each community decides what it publishes and whom it contacts; StarKind runs the service for them.

What we collect

When you sign up with a community we keep what you give it: your name, email address and, if you choose, your mobile number. If you agree to texts we also keep a record of that agreement — when, where, and the wording you agreed to. Members who sign in also have an account with their name and email.

How we use it

Only to run that community's website and send you the emails or texts you signed up for, such as event updates and news. Your information belongs to the community you signed up with and is not shown to other communities.

Mobile numbers and texting

We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or your texting opt-in with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. We use service providers only to deliver messages and run the service (for example, our text-message and email delivery providers and our cloud hosting), and they may use the information only for that purpose.

Your choices

Reply STOP to any text to stop texts; use the unsubscribe link in any email to stop emails. Either one stops that channel only. You can ask the community, or us, to update or delete your information.
